Why I volunteered here: Because I really wanted to make a difference in the public health of the community. I also really enjoyed meeting with the coordinator. Once he showed me the opportunities and growth of the initiative, I knew it was the right fit for me.

Why I volunteered here: I really wanted to help out with discussing gay inter-generational topics with youth. I also wanted to share parts of my own story with the youth to promote volunteerism and exclusivity.
Impact: You will be helping us run a successful event with partial proceeds directed back to the local Okanagna Boys and Girls Clubs.

Why I volunteered here: I wanted to get involved in the First Aid at summer events. Being part of the CSP allows me to volunteer at the summer events they cover. And I also wanted to explore the BC outdoors in winter with the Ski Patrol at Big White.
Why I volunteered here: I wanted to get more experience in Paramedecine and patient contacts. I also wanted to get involved in disaster management and a non-profit organization that provides First Aid services at events.
Impact: Get involved with Kelowna's low-barrier Emergency Winter Shelter for men, women, and pets.
Impact: Provide positive, social interaction with guests and support to overnight staff.
