Why I volunteered here: KARIS is an amazing local organization that acts as a long-term recovery home for women facing issues with #MentalHealth and #Addiction.
Why I volunteered here: With an ever progressing wealth gap and a constant challenge in #FoodScarcity, the Food Bank is there to make sure the at-risk members of our community are not left without.
Why I volunteered here: Not only was this an amazing event but it brought some #HolidayCheer to some isolated members of the community and it gave the opportunity for some young people to connect and understand people who are facing troubles with mental health.
Why I volunteered here: The gratitude on everyone's face that came through made helping those less fortunate so rewarding. Although it's sad to see so many people living without, it's uplifting to know that an organization like the Gospel Mission is there to help.
Why I volunteered here: Mamas For Mamas is an amazing support community and exchange networks for mothers of all kinds. They help mothers with resources connect with mothers without to help tackle issues of poverty and stress from parenting.
