On November 8th, Launch Okanagan celebrated Financial Literacy Month with 150+ guests from the finance, non-profit and business community. Guests were treated to a wonderful breakfast at the Coast Capri Hotel and learned more about the work of Launch Okanagan and the importance of finance literacy in our community.

Due to inclement weather, Kelley Keehn was unable to fly in from Edmonton so she joined virtually and delivered her wise and witty presentation: The Prosperity Factor. Kelley is a best-selling author, personal finance expert and national media personality. We were lucky to have her join us despite mother nature’s interruptions! Follow Kelley Keehn on social media or visit KelleyKeehn.com.

Thanks again to gold sponsors BMO Private Wealth and CIBC, silver sponsors KPMG, Bronze sponsors Canadian Western Bank, Coast Capri Hotel, Mike Wright & Associates, Petraroia Langford Lawyers, and Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union.

Special thanks to media partners Global Okanagan, AM 1150 and Kelowna’s Move and Castanet for promotional support.

The breakfast fundraiser offered guests an opportunity to join our 50/50 draw or double your donation. Congrats to Connie Proctor for winning the 50/50 draw as well as five lucky winners of Kelley Keehn's best-selling book "Talk Money to Me". The morning was a great success and raised vital funding for Launch Okanagan programs and participants.
