We were smiling through our tears as we cleaned onions for our friends at Penticton's Soupateria. Jackey Zellweger and I volunteered to help serve the Thanksgiving meal as part of Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union and First West Foundation's annual Make a Difference Days campaign.
Team members joined in on Thursday to help prep today's meal. Five turkeys, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, stuffing, gravy and of course, pumpkin pie.
