Reflecting on an amazing year of #simplegenerosity in 2021, Fraser Valley Conservancy Land Trust received a $2,000 Thriving Families grant for their in-person Nature Stewardship School Workshops. These popular workshops teach people how to be good stewards of the land and provide real examples of how they can care for nature in their own communities.
Two eager groups of participants participated in a morning and afternoon session and took part in a walk and talk style interactive workshop, learning about invasive and native plants, what makes a good habitat for amphibians, owls and other local wildlife and that nature knows best.
