Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union just made a $15,000 donation to BC Young Farmers, but how does $15,000 help them be #GoodForBusiness?

Farming is a very important industry to our communities, and BC Young Farmers is looking to move agriculture into the future and continue to build a strong group of young farmers to help our community thrive. With changes and challenges coming from the agriculture industry’s sensitivity to climate change BC Young Farmers told us that farming businesses today need to be extremely adaptable and resilient in their production, business planning, and even personal mental health. BCYF is providing the information, education, and skills necessary for the next generation of agriculture leaders in our community to take on these challenges coming from climate change, to keep our agriculture industry thriving!

The young farmers BCYF helps range from agriculture students to experienced producers who already own a successful operation. However, they are all hungry for knowledge and practical experience to further their professional development. This donation will help them to explore new programing opportunities and increase the resources they already offer and continue to be a training ground for tomorrow’s agricultural leaders here in the Fraser Valley and beyond.

At Envision Financial we’re passionate about keeping a good thing growing and that’s why we decided to show BC Young Farmers our Simple Generosity with this $15,000 donation!
