Today, United Way Southern Interior BC and the Ramada Hotel hosted a Pushor Mitchell Day of Caring for local charities. Packages of protective masks, hand sanitizer and in some cases feminine hygiene products were packaged up for use by front-line non-medical essential community service workers. 16 charities picked up nearly 2000 maskes and 45 litres of hand sanitizer to take back to their programs in Kelowna. Thanks to the Ramada Hotel for storing the products and donating the space for the event.
