Seniors making a difference for Habitat for Humanity Okanagan
Habitat for Humanity Okanagan staff were delighted to receive a donation from residents of The Revera Dorchester Retirement Home and Residence. A presentation was held and residents from the Dorchester presented a cheque for $1,187.66.
“Over the past 10 months, the Revera staff at the Dorchester have been holding monthly ‘Dress Down for a Toonie’ days, organized a fundraising BBQ and held a basket raffle draw with proceeds to benefit Habitat for Humanity Okanagan.” said Kathleen Lemieux, Director of Fund Development for Habitat for Humanity Okanagan.” A big thank you to the staff and all the residents. We are so grateful for all their efforts.”
