This Saturday our non-profit was grateful for the help of 16 volunteers who care about equal access to healthy, fresh produce in our valley. The Central Okanagan Community Farm Society planted 25, 130 foot long rows of vegetables at our Helen’s Acres location here in Kelowna.
Those seeds and seedlings will produce thousands of pounds of vegetables that will be donated to a dozen social service agencies who will then donate them to people in need of fresh vegetables.
