About 50 Kerr Wood Leidal Associates Ltd. staff, family members, and friends volunteered to help restore a spawning channel alongside Mosquito Creek in North Vancouver.
Activities included removing invasive species such as holly and ivy, removing garbage and stream obstructions, and planting new native vegetation along the creek. This work, along with other recent work done along the creek, is helping native fish species such as Coho salmon to return to Mosquito Creek after an absence of several years.
