Vote now for Start Fresh Project in Kelowna by selecting an emoji below! Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union and Enderby & District Financial, a division of First West CU would help Start Fresh Project build a Farm and Culinary Education Training – a free program that teaches students to grow and prepare their own food. They want to develop the farm space by adding bees, chickens a compost to the farm’s ecosystem, and obtain a vehicle to transport students to the farm and kitchen. They have a desire to grow healthier communities, help students find employment with skills gained in the program and partner with farms and restaurants to help give people a fresh start. Thank you for helping us celebrate Canada150 and strengthening our communities with SimpleGenerosity!
