Volunteer Position

Virtual Community Ambassador

Make a Big Impact in your Community
Good for Youth

Do Some Good and Black Press Media are looking for Community Ambassadors all throughout BC.
What will the Ambassador do?
Ambassadors will work with local charities, non profits and community organizations to help them post stories that could be featured by Black Press media! This in turn drives awareness, volunteers and potentially $ to many worthy causes. Ambassadors can also share stories of businesses and people that are making a difference locally. The Community Ambassador will drive a big impact in their local community!!
How much time will it take?
The amount of time you put in is up to you. We are asking for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
Who would be a great Ambassador?
If you are passionate about your local community, are plugged-in to what’s happening locally, and want to help create positive impact from the comfort of your home (or in person once COVID restrictions relax), then you would be a great Ambassador! Our Ambassadors know about or can find the good-things happening locally. Community ambassadors should be comfortable with social media and helping non profits with using technology.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
