Thanks so much for volunteering at Kamloops Ribfest on Saturday, Aug 11th beginning at 1:30 pm. We know your team will have a fantastic time and can feel good knowing you're helping to support local non-profits who deliver programs and services in Kamloops and region.
All of the equipment you will need will already be on site. You'll be taking over from the Valleyview team, led by Caroline Cutler. Your team will be running the Great Money Challenge Game, handing out $200 Get Your Share cards and conducting event surveys. Please visit the Event Crew section on the Common Wiki (via Genie) to view the Guidebook, event survey details and to find the FAQ section.
Administering surveys at Ribfest is very easy; just circulate a clipboard amongst those in the line up for ribs, or sitting down enjoying their meals. Each completed survey earns you $0.50, up to a maximum of $100. Our goal is to have at least 100 surveys completed. Participants have the option of providing their contact information for a chance to win $200 cash.
Your team will receive $300 incentive plus any bonus funds earned from completed event surveys.
If you have any questions, please email Sue at smanzuik@interiorsavings.com or call 250-869-8213.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
