Event Day Hosts- Information Booth

help show off our local Kelowna talent and community by hosting one of the biggest summer events of the year!

"Celebrate Canada Day - Kelowna" is our annual, free community festival held in Waterfront Park, Jim Stuart Park and Kerry Park, as well as Prospera Place for residents and visitors to celebrate our nation's birthday. There are over 50+ activities and performances that are multi-generational and family-friendly, sure to entertain festival goers all day long. Over 60,000 people have attended these celebrations each year.
Job role:
- greet and count guests;
- provide event details at the information booth;
- hand out tattoos and flags; and
- enjoy the sunshine and atmosphere!
Shifts are 3-4 hours only. Full-day shifts also available. Snacks will be provided to volunteers throughout the day. Guaranteed to be a jam-packed event. Perfect for seasoned volunteers as well as newcomers looking for a way to contribute to the community.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
