Co-Chair

Help to coordinate the Sierra Okanagan Local Group and connect local communities with nature

is seeking an enthusiastic Co-Chair. Along with our Chair, the Co-chair will be an ambassador of the group and help to direct vision and steer activities in line with the goals of the local group. The Co-Chair will be a direct point of contact between Sierra Club BC Foundation and the Okanagan local group, and would be required to communicate with outside groups and partners. The Co-Chair will need the following key skills:
Teamwork
Communication
Organization
Motivation
Leadership
This is a VOLUNTEER POSITION open to people aged 16 and upwards. This role requires 3-4 hours of volunteer time a week. If you are interested in this position, please message simone@sierraclub.bc.ca, outlining the key skills you have and why you think would make you a great Co-Chair. All expertise is welcome!

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
