Are you looking for something fun and engaging to do in your community all while helping others? Do you enjoy meeting new people and working in a fast-passed exciting environment? If so, then volunteering with the Canadian Red Cross may be for you. Our Health Equipment Loan Program is a volunteer operated, community-based program that lends health equipment such as wheelchairs, and bathing aides to people of all ages. The invaluable program helps people in your community recover from surgery, illness or injury in the comfort of their own home. As a volunteer you can choose to work with clients as a client customer service representative, or you can work behind the scenes repairing and cleaning the equipment to ensure no one is left without their basic equipment needs.
