Help the Central Okanagan Food Policy Council improve Food Security!We are looking for board members to help move the work of the Central Okanagan Food Policy Council (COFPC) forward. The COFPC board plays an essential role in planning and coordinating food action project and policy. The board decides what food action projects to take on, and what grants to apply for to help support the projects. The board is also involved in planning and attending events to support our mission, vision and goals. There is also opportunity to provide input into policy that support food security, for example local and regional government zoning and planning documents.

The COFPC Board meets once per month for 2 hours, and a few hours of work is expected in between the monthly meeting.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
